How to propagate bulbs

in

I was wondering about different kinds of bulb flowers, and whether there is a way to multiply or propagate the bulbs.  Do the bulbs just stay as a single bulb when you plant them, or do they spread out around the original area that they are planted in?  Are there certain types of bulb flowers that are better for multiplying than others?

Thanks for any help you can give,

Propagating bulbs

Bulb flowers actually have seeds in the middle of their flowers, but it's usually harder to grow flowers from the seeds so that's why people grow them from the bulb.

Bulb-type plants propagate by make new, smaller versions of themselves usually called bulblets.
Smaller offshoot bulbs
or cormels can be detached from the main bulbs. They grow smaller bulbs on the sides of the mother bulb that you
can separate and transplant to another location if you want to.' These smaller bulbs will flower
in 1 to 3 years. Aerial bulblets (bulbils) form where the leaf meets the stem
on various lilies. These will produce flowers 2 to 3 years after planting.

Good luck!
