My wife and I just bought a beach house.  Actually, my wife was more instrumental in buying the beach house, but I suppose I had something to do with it!  Anyway, we need to purchase garden furniture for the beach house, and are looking for furniture items that will be durable, lightweight for moving inside when we are not around, and can withstand the salt air. 

Hi! I hope someone has some great ideas they can share with me. I am planning out an area of my backyard to plant a Japanese garden, kind of a Zen Garden. I want to be able to spend quiet time there, and also to have my guests feel as if they can spend time there too. Does anyone have any suggestions about what type of garden furniture I should put in a Japanese garden? Any other ideas to help me with what to plant in a Japanese garden? I'd appreciate any ideas at all.

I have a wonderful garden across the street from the seaside in Cape Cod, so my furniture is always getting ruined. What types of furniture can I buy that will withstand the harsh salty air, high winds, and heavy rain? My cotton hammock has been ruined in just two seasons, my wood Adirondack chairs are cracked and almost unusable, and my trusty garden bench is rotting quickly. Help!
